This climbing rose from western and central China is a breathtaking sight in spring when it is weighed down in spring and early summer with large bunches of small double roses in pink, white or yellow.

It is almost evergreen in mild climates and loses its leaves in cold areas. It will grow vigorously to +-9m tall and +-9m wide and is very easy to grow in full sun.  Plant it in good, well-drained soil and provide it with a trellis or fence to scramble over.

When planted close together, it will form an impenetrable hedge for farms and plots.
