Secret Garden ‘Summer’s Medley’

The inspiration for this secret garden comes from those lazy summer days, the stuff of dreams and daydreaming, when the day seems to last forever and the fun never stops. This quote by John Lubbock captures this beautifully: “Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.”

Contained within a beautifully woven gold frame, the vibrantly coloured crystal glass beads come alive wherever there is good light, be it natural or artificial. A selection of semi-precious stones grounds the project and if you look carefully you will see a tiny bird’s nest amongst an orange-flowered creeper. A blue butterfly flits over a flower, and a double-terminated clear quartz crystal – the master of all healing crystals – nestles amongst a bed of flowers.

This original is beautifully packaged and will make a most unusual gift.

The gold jewellery wire will not tarnish, and if it does get a bit dusty, simply wash it off gently in warm soapy water.
